Information regarding the arrival of new pets in Webkinz World has been released.
The Webkinz Afghan Hound is a virtual-only pet and will probably be available at the Ganz eStore.
 The Gemstone pet for April is the Webkinz Diamond Doggy. It will come with the Diamond Piano and the Diamond Dipped Sugar Cone.  |

Today is the last day to purchase the St. Patrick's Day themed items at the Ganz eStore.

| Ganz has announced that they will be making some changes to the Webkinz World Arcade on Wednesday, March 17th. A brand new game called Lily Padz 2 will be arriving, and the old favorite Color Storm will be returning. |

Tweets have been hinting about a \"New event starting tomorrow in the Clubhouse! A little green friend will be popping in and out, handing out a rainbow of treats.\"
This morning, Webkinz World members were greeted with a new rainbow feature. It appears that a leprechaun will be in the clubhouse. Click on him to get a treat. The item will then appear in your pot of gold... |

Webkinz users, after a disappointing loss last week, have won their first communal contest! Everyone was able to reach a total 5,000,000 (five million) Kinz Cash to win the contest! Each user who played Pizza Palace this past weekend was awarded a Abracadabra Candelabra.
Don't forget to vote for the next communal contest's prize as you only have until Thursday to vote!

Ganz Announced earlier, A new rare theme would be coming to Webkinz World. We now know that there are 5 items currently in the theme. I expect more Items to be added in the future just like the Princes Palace Theme.

With this morning's Maintenance, Ganz added a New Pet. The Cheshire Chat is New to Webkinz World. The PSI is the Freaky Forest Tree Perch and the PSF is Ginger
Snap Cookies. We assume that it is a Virtual only Pet.
We have noticed extreme resemblances with this pet and the Cheshire Cat from Alice and Wonderland, could this have something to do with the new release of Disney's Alice and Wonderland, We can only wait... |

A new game has been added to Quizzy's Corner. It is the Endangered Species Signature Safari. Players travel the paw print path and answer questions about an endangered animal. The first animal is the Bengal Tiger. For each question that is answered correctly, players earn kinzcash. Upon completion of the game, a new Explorer badge is rewarded. Have fun learning about endangered animals!

The "Modo" Condo Theme sold at the Estore has had it's name changed. It is now called the "Avante" Condo Theme. In addition to the name change 5 Furniture pieces as well as flooring and walls has been added. Here are some pics:

A new weekly feature has been added to the Newspaper section, the Communal Contest where members work together to earn a common prize. Visitors vote on a prize between Monday and Thursday, then on Friday the contest details are announced. Members have Saturday and Sunday to try to reach the common goal and win the prize. Be sure to visit this week.

It is the Birthstone Pet for March, 2010 It will be available from March 1st, 2010 - March 31st, 2010It's PSI is the Aquamarine Floor Lamp and the Aquamarine Dresser and its PSF is the Aquamarine Angel Cake. The colors are still being worked on, the picture of it in a room is believed to be the the right color as the other image is the same as the December Birthstone Pet, The Zircon Pup. |

The Sparkling Pegasus has been added to WW during this mornings maintenance. The Sparkling Pegasus is also confirmed to be an eStore-only release.The Pet Specific Item is the GoldenChariot Bed and the Pet Specific Food is Twinkly Wing Waffles. Though appears to be a horse, actually flies. We believe that with this pet you could unlock treetop rooms.
